Hannah silently followed Mr.Bob | Chapter 3

As soon as she stepped out of the president’s office, she bumped into Bob Priston.

“Hello Miss Morphis, I’m Bob Priston, President’s personal assistant.  This way please.” Saying this he gestured towards his righthand side and led the way.

Hannah silently followed him. After walking only a few steps, Bob entered a cabin. It was a nice big cabin almost 200 sq. Mtrs., furnished with a large work station with a desktop, printer cum scanner, and a big Sofa with a tea table.

This cabin was far luxurious than her work desk in finance department. Hannah looked at Bob in confusion.

Noticing her probing gaze, he spoke in a low voice, “Miss Morphis, from now on this is your personal cabin. This cabin is next to the boss’s office. This will make it easier for both of you to work together. Please feel free to call me if you need anything.” 

Hearing his words and seeing the arrangements Hannah was shocked. She couldn’t understand why all of a sudden she was being given so much importance. But this was not the right time to ask or express anything. She nodded her head in agreement silently, without speaking.

“From now on you will operate from this cabin. An assistant has been appointed for you, she’ll join you after lunch. Now please excuse me.” Saying this Bob Priston turned to leave the cabin.  

Hannah also turned to leave the cabin.  

She could not stay there without her belongings which were still on the 56^th floor in the finance department. 

When Hannah arrived at her new cabin after lunch, she found a girl in her twenties.

“Hallo Ma’am, I’m Ana Song, your assistant.” She greeted with a sweet smile. Ana was a slim girl, no one can speculate her age from her appearance, she was petite but energetic.  She had already brew a cup of coffee for Hannah. 

“Madam, these files have been sent by Mr. petition. He has said that these are the basic details for the next project. Please have a look.” Ana informed. 

“OK.” Keeping the coffee on the side, Hannah started checking the files. These files contained hard copies of all previous major contracts of the Imperial Group, Brief description of all important projects and clients. These were very secret files.

‘Why did he send such confidential files to me?’ Hannah was more puzzled. It seemed to her that all this is not as simple as it appeared on the surface. But she couldn’t find any reason behind this. What has she done to get such an important position in this company?

She took a long, cold breath thinking that what would happen would be seen. For now, she has to give her 100% to this task.

Thinking so, she started noting down some important points given in the file in her diary.

In the evening, after getting off work, Hannah went straight to her new apartment. She was completely exhausted.

Two days passed like this.

After two days, Andrew Rust called Hannah to his office.

She knocked on the door

“Come in,” a voice came from inside.

“Sir, why did you call me?”Hannah asked politely.

“Come join me at a business party in the evening.” Andrew Rust said,  emotionlessly. 

In the evening, Hannah left her office ahead of time, she had to get ready for the evening party.

When Andrew Rust came to pick her up, he was stunned for a moment by her beauty. Earlier, he had seen her only in formal clothes. This was the first time he saw Hannah in a gown and with make-up.

Hannah’s beauty was more than any other celebrity. 

Her facial contours and her delicate features were able to earn her the title of queen of beauty in every respect. 

Andrew Rust reached to a five star hotel with Hannah. She was wearing an off shoulder party peach color gown. which was making her beauty even more emerging.

As soon as Andrew Rust entered the party hall with Hannah, everyone’s eyes fell on them.

There was praise in the eyes of some people, jealousy in some and lust in some.

Although Hannah had attended many big parties before, but she had come for the first time in such a big hotel.

She was a little stunned seeing the strange eyes of so many people.

Right now she was just trying to adjust herself that Andrew said, “Come on let me introduce you to all the people. These people are the kings of their respective fields.”

“Hello Andrew Rust, it’s been a long time no news from your side, where are you busy these days?” Someone asked, extending his hand. 

“Mr. Bolt, you too are not in the news these days? What happened, is everything OK?”Andrew shook his hand while commenting.

Bolt was a lecherous who was often in the news for his ill-wishers.

He was so embarrassed to hear this remark before a beauty that he immediately slipped away from there.

Andrew Rust turned his gaze around as if he was looking for someone.

After moving around his eyes fixed on a group. Hannah also followed his eyes and she was shocked to see the man standing some distance away.

She was feeling as if she had seen this man very closely before but could not remember where. 

“Come let me introduce you to a very special person, he is one of the most powerful people in this country. He is the Chief of Special Forces. He finalize all the weapons supplied to the defense. We have to tie up with him for our upcoming project.”Andrew informed her in advance and dragged along.    

Doris Bills reached out to shake hands with Andrew Rust, but as soon as he caught sight of Hannah, his hand froze in the air.

Andrew Rust was very happy in his heart to see such a reaction from him but on the surface he pretended to be surprised.

He immediately grabbed Doris Bills’ hand and said “Is there something wrong Mr. Bills?” 

Doris Bills Immediately Returned to his senses and flatly said, “Nice to meet you.” 

“Meet her, this is Miss Hannah Morphis. Miss Morphis has just joined my core team.”Andrew Rust deliberately introduced Hannah to Doris Bills. 

A coldness appeared in Doris Bills’ eyes for a few seconds as he heard Hannah’s introduction from Andrew Rust’s mouth. But it disappeared within seconds. 

He extended his hand to Hannah and said, “Miss Morphis, how are you?” 

“I’m fine, Mr. Bills nice to meet you too.” Hannah replied politely. 

Doris Bills held Hannah’s hand tight as if he was trying to identify her. Hannah found his action a bit strange but she did not react immediately. She smiled and pulled back her hand.  

Andrew Rust immediately noticed her action and he said deliberately, “Hannah, Mr. Doris Bills is an esteemed client of ours. In future, you have to make all your deal with him so you have to take special care of him.” 

“Certainly.” Hannah replied in a professional tone. She knew very well that her purpose of coming here was to meet her future clients. At this point of time, she had nothing on her mind other than a professional relationship. 

“Excuse me, let me introduce Miss Morphis to some more people.” Saying this, Andrew Rust grabbed Hannah’s hand and led her in the other direction. 

As Hannah and Andrews left, Doris Biles called her assistant with a finger gesture and said,

“I want all the information of this girl immediately, find out where was she on the 25th of last month?” 

“Chief, you will get the report in half an hour.” Having said this, Wilson left immediately. 

Andrew introduced Hannah to several other people. All this while, Hannah also had to drink a few glasses of wine.

After a while she started getting tipsy. 

“Mr. Rust I guess I won’t be able to hold on anymore. She said softly into Andrew’s ear. 

“Never mind, let me drop you home.” Andrew said gentlemanly.

“Thank You.” Hanna thanked him.

Doris Bills’ eyes were fixed on Hannah the whole time and as soon as they left, Doris Bills’ mobile phone rang. 

“Chief the report is lying on your table.” Wilson Brown’s voice came from the other side. 

“Got it.” Saying this Doris Bills hung up the phone.
