Does she leave Selena alone like this? Chapter 8

“Hey cousin, Look I’ve got new members for our team.” Christie said in a pleasant voice.

At Christy’s voice the man turned to face them, Hannah and Selena stopped breathing for a few moments after seeing his face.

Both girls were looking at him agape but both had different reasons. Selena was shocked to see his beauty and masculinity. After all, he was a very handsome man, about 6 feet 3 inches tall, wheatish complexion, dark brown military cut hair, long nose, dark brown eyes, which seemed to see through anyone, perfect jawline kissable lips and a slim strong stout body. Seeing him, it was as if the Greek God had come in human form.

Whereas Hannah was in shock because it was her third meeting with the man in a week.

“Miss Morphis, it’s so unexpected to meet you here.” Doris Bills remarked.

“Good Morning Mr. Bills.” Hannah greeted in a humble tone, after all she had to cooperate to this person in future.

“Do you know each other?” Christy was shocked to find that her aloof cousin could greet a female on his own accord.

“Nothing, we’ve met professionally before.” Doris Bills replied.

Hannah didn’t reply; she just lowered her eyes.

Selena was still staring at Doris Bills. Her mouth was still open as if she was drooling. It was not that she had seen such a handsome man for the first time, but Doris Bills was not only handsome, but his virility was reflected in every action.

“Meet my friend, Selena Smith, heir of the Smith group of companies.” Christy briefly introduced Selena to Doris Bills.

“Selena, this is my cousin Doris Bills Special force chief of Y country.” Christy nudged Selena.

“Hello Mr. Bills, nice to meet you.” Selena regained her senses after being elbowed by Christy.

“The world is really small,” they were just talking that someone called from behind.

They all immediately turned their heads in the direction of the voice.

Sure, it was Andrew Rust.

“Mr. Bills, nice to meet you.” Andrew Rust greeted with a sly smile.

“Mr. Rust, how are you?” Doris Bills asked, perfunctorily. 

“Miss Morphis, I didn’t know that you do like fishing? If I had known, I would have already

come to accompany you.” Andrew Rust said, facing Hannah.

“Good Morning Sir, Sir, I have come here for the first time.”Hannah replied, humbly.

“Oh, if that’s the case then come let me teach you how to fish.” Having said this, Andre Rust grabbed Hannah’s shoulder and took her with him.  

“Mr. Rust, I haven’t come alone, my friend has come with me,” Hannah said embarrassedly. How could she leave Selena alone like this?

“Your friend can join us too.” said Andrew Rust with a crooked smile.

Hannah was speechless after hearing his suggestion. She could not understand what to do.

“You guys can catch fish from here, I’m leaving now.” Called Doris Bills from behind.

“Chief you don’t have to scarify your pleasure for us, we can find another suitable spot.” Saying this   Andrew Rust turned to face Hannah and said, “Take your stuff and come with me, I have seen a suitable spot at another side of river.” Saying this he was about to leave that Doris Bills’ sarcastic voice rang in his ear. 

“This is how you cooperate with the ministry for your new project?”

“Mr. Bills, we are not here to talk about business. More importantly, I cannot disturb you, nor can I allow my team member to disturb you, what if any of our actions offend you?” Andrew Rust said with a sly smile.

“Wait, we’re here for picnic and leisure and not for business purposes, if you guys want to leave your prejudice and go fishing together, we can gladly join you both, and if not, please you guys enjoy yourself and let us go somewhere else.” Selena said clearly.

“OK then what do you guys think about cooking the fish first, since I’ve already caught a lot of fish so for now we can cook them and then enjoy swimming in the river, if Still, if you think that you have to catch fish, then before leaving in the evening, you can catch fish and take it with you.” Doris Bills suggested.

“This sounds exciting, we haven’t even had breakfast yet. Let’s all cook fish together, after that we can play some water sports too.” Christy said excitedly.

“Come on then,” said Doris Bills, picked up the bucket full of fish and headed towards a hut.

Christie filled a small bucket of clean water from the river and she too started following Doris Bills.

Seeing both of them going forward, Selena did not consider it appropriate to delay and she also started following them holding the trolley in one hand and Hannah’s hand in the other.

Seeing their enthusiasm, Hannah could not do anything, she took a deep breath and started following them helplessly. Anyway, she came with Selena so naturally she should follow her.

Andrew Rust was annoyed after seeing them all go after Doris Bills, but apparently; he could not do anything, so he also went after them with remorse.

The cottage was very beautiful. It was divided into two parts, the inner part consisting of a wooden plank around which a mosquito net was tied, a table and two chairs neatly placed nearby. There was a door at the back which probably opened to the bathroom. There was a slab in the outer part on which a bar be que was placed, skewers and coal for bar be que were placed under the slab.

In no time, Doris Bills poured the fish in the sink and began to clean them by slitting them with a sharp knife. Christy took out a bowl and a pouch of spices from her basket, she put spices in the bowl and put some oil and lemon juice and kept it. Hannah took out a towel from the basket and began to dry the fish, Doris had washed, by pressing them in between the folds of the towel. Meanwhile, Selena smoldered the bar-be-que.

After all the fish were dried, Hannah picked up the spice bowl and began beating the spices. She beat the spices till the aroma of spices started coming from the bowl.

After that she put all the fish one by one in the bowl, wrapped it well in spices and kept it aside.

Doris Bills picked up the prepared fish and pricked them in skewers and put them on the barbeque.

Andrew Rust was sitting on the chair all this while. After a few minutes; he was handed over a few vegetables to prepare a salad. He efficiently cut all the raw vegetables into thin slices and after seasoning a big plate of salad was ready.

While they were busy preparing food, a soldier kept a rack of beer along with a box of ice. Selena quickly found a foldable table, placed foldable stools around it, laid the cover on the table and placed plates, knife forks and glasses neatly on it.

In no time the whole fish were roasted and they all sat down together to eat.

Andrew rest filled everybody’s Glass with beer. While eating Selena suddenly screamed, “Wow it’s amazing having lunch with two big shots of the country, I have never experienced like this before.”

Although she was an heir of the Smith group, she had never got a chance to dine with any big people due to the conflicts in her family.

She looked at Christie and complained,

“Christy, you never disclose that you have such a powerful cousin.   How mean you were.”  Sorry Mr. Bills, please don’t take my words otherwise but you are really very handsome.” By the way, do you have a girlfriend? If not, I would like to introduce you to a promising girl.” Selena said, bluntly.

“Don’t be over-enthusiastic,” Hannah whispered in Selena’s ear while nudging.

But instead of shutting her mouth up, Selena blabbered, “You will never propose to anybody, let me help you.”

Although she said it in a low voice, still her voice was loud enough to hear by all of them.
