Andrew Rust thought Hannah is very intelligent | Chapter 11

This missile interceptor carries no warhead but relies on the kinetic energy of an impact to destroy the incoming missile. A kinetic energy hit minimizes the risk of exploding conventional-warhead ballistic missiles, and the warhead of nuclear-tipped ballistic missiles will not detonate upon a kinetic energy hit. Hannah introduced the four latest weapons one by one. She explained all the characteristics of those weapons in detail. Not only the foreign people but even Andrew Rust was awestruck after listening to her description.

The foreign delegate was fully convinced by the presentation given by Hannah. One of those couldn’t stop himself from praising Hannah, “Mr. Rust we didn’t know that such a beauty could be able to give such a presentation.”

Listening to their remarks Andrew Rust looked at Hannah with an admiration.

‘This girl is really intelligent and promising.’ Andrew Rust thought.

After finishing her presentation, Hannah was about to leave as this was the initial stage of the deal, there are more stages to be completed before the final deal.

They could not sign any agreements with foreigners unless the government of Y country expressly refused to renew the existing contract. Since they were not able to sign any contract at this time they used this time to find new buyers. They deliberately divided the whole process of dealing into three steps, the first step was the presentation, the second step was mutual agreement on certain points, such as the buyer would not buy any weapon of the same class from any other manufacturer, similarly, the Imperial group wouldn’t sell that same weapon any enemy country of the buyer, and the third step was to finalize the deal with the transfer of money and weapons to each other.

Since the foreign delegation was quite satisfied with the presentation, Andrew Rust wanted to throw a party in their honour, but it was not possible at the moment, he would have to keep this deal secret until they sign the contract so he decided to invite them for dinner.

He did not talk with Hannah all this while and as soon as Hannah was about to bypass him to go out of the conference hall, he called her name, “Miss Morphis, just a second.”

Hannah halted on her track and stared at him in confusion.

“The company is going to invite the delegation for dinner and you have to host the dinner for them on behalf of the company.” 

Hannah remembered that that Andrew Rust abruptly left the cottage yesterday after giving her a deadly staring.

Hannah didn’t react to him and stood there, motionlessly.

Seeing her standing without any reaction, Andrew Rust got annoyed but considering the fact that it was not the right time to get irritated, her looked at her and asked, “Do you have any objection Miss Morphis?”

Hannah didn’t know how to reply? Whether she should accept or refuse his direction? As a subordinate, she shouldn’t object to any of his orders but as she doesn’t have any experience in hosting the dinner she should politely refuse to shoulder the liability. Due to her dilemma, she didn’t react to him and stood there, motionlessly.

Seeing her standing without any reaction, Andrew Rust got irritated but because it was not the right time to get irritated, he looked at Hannah and asked, “Do you have any objection, Miss Morphis?”

Finding him looking at her face intently, Hannah came back to her senses. She plastered a charming smile on her face and replied,

“No sir, I don’t have any objections, it is just that I don’t have any previous experience with hosting dinner parties for foreign delegates. Since these are our premium clients, I don’t want to leave any bad impression.”

Listening to her logic, Andrew Rust’s anger subsided and he replied,

“If that’s the case then you can ask help from Bob, he is quite experienced in all this stuff.” 

Saying this, he got up and strode out without giving her any further chance of refusal this time.

Seeing his back, Hannah sighed.

In the evening, Hannah chose a multi-cuisine restaurant for dinner. She was not familiar with guests and also didn’t get enough time to ask about their preference for food so for the safer side, she selected a muti-cuisine restaurant in a seven-star hotel.

A fine dining restaurant with a menu that caters to fusion food, the restaurant was with a highly rated vintage decor and food that would be the perfect luxury meal and comfort food.

When all the guests arrived and were seated at their seats, she directed the manager to serve the food. there were all types of delicacies from the countries around the world crystal dumplings, Classic Barbeque Pork Bao, The King Crab, Crispy noodles, Organic Pomelo Salad, Wild Mushroom Soup, Paglia E Fieno Pasta, Shrimp Cocktail, Tiramisu and various other dishes were served on a wide table.

Hannah and Bob personally served the guests. With her pleasing personality, Hannah made this dinner memorable for the guests.

Andrew Rust was mesmerised to discover this side of Hannah. He found that this girl has many hidden talents. When he hired her, he had some other motives. He wanted to use her as a bargaining chip but now after discovering her multi-talented personality, he found himself attracted to this girl. He was staring at her without blinking his eyes.

By the time all the guests left it was 10 pm. Hannah checked her watch and after knowing the time she looked for Andrew Rust.

Andrew Had drunk a lot and he was also looking for Hannah. When they both came across each other, Hannah asked, “Mr. Rust, all the guests have left and there’s nothing to do so I will take my leave, Good Night.”

“Andrew, it’s Andrew.” Andrew said in a husky voice.

“What?” Hannah asked, confused.

“Call me Andrew, Mr. Rust feels so distant,” Andrew replied, drawing himself close to Hannah.

“Mr. Rust, I think you are drunk,” Hannah said, taking a step back.

Seeing her taking a step backwards, Andrew extended his hand, grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him.

“Mr. Rust, please behave yourself,” Hannah shouted.

“Shhhhhh, don’t shout, I’m not a bad man, you are such a beautiful and talented girl, where were you until now?” Andrew wanted to hug her but left her hand fearing that she would take it otherwise.
